ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
ROBOTICS PROGRAM
Robotics engagement through daily classes, clubs, and local and out of state competitions.
A robust music department including a Mariachi Band and Jazz band.
MUSIC DEPARTMENT
Competitive games through the Art David League including volleyball, flag football, basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and more.

Yearly field trip to the Capitol for 8th grade students
YOSEMITE FIELD TRIP
Week-long field trip to Yosemite for 7th grade students
SMCOE OUTDOOR EDUCATION
Overnight field trip to the Bay Area redwoods for all 6th grade students
The REF community also funds a vast number of key positions at the middle school including a social worker, vice principal, and outreach coordinator.
