Since our inception, REF has sought to give teachers the tools and skills they need to do their best work. Working closely with the RCSD and the local community, REF has provided teachers with key instructional materials, classroom supplies and support, professional development, coaching and collaboration time.  With strong community support, REF has helped teachers do their best work and has altered the educational experience for students.

Professional Development

In order promote teaching excellence and enhance teacher retention. REF supports professional development for veteran teachers.

Teacher Stipends

REF believes in our 12 teacher leaders. Each teacher leader qualifies for a stipend to compensate for any additional hours works related to coaching and leads

Staff Appreciation

Thanks to the work of our Adopt-a-School and Adopt-a-Teacher volunteers. Staff receives appreciation gifts and lunches throughout the year. This year alone. over 8 appreciation lunches have been provided at each site by our Adopt-a-School volunteers.

Teacher Collaboration

While students are in enrichment courses, classroom teachers meet for valuable collaboration time.
