Ravenswood students participated in engaging activities designed to boost their literacy skills, track their progress, and earn prizes—all while developing lifelong reading habits.
Students logged their minutes through a variety of literacy-focused activities, including:
📖 Independent or buddy reading
🎧 Listening to audiobooks
💻 Completing iReady lessons centered on literacy
The results are in:
Over three weeks, 936 students across four schools logged more than 212,000 minutes of reading during Rock ‘N’ Read—celebrating stories, school spirit, and the power of reading together.

As your student logs their reading minutes, they’ll unlock prizes at different milestones. Milestone goals vary for middle and elementary school students.
